Pricing and Quotations

How much does van signwriting cost in Surrey?

The cost depends on the size and type of vehicle, how much of it is being covered, and whether the job uses simple cut lettering, printed graphics, reflective materials or larger branded panels. Straightforward company names, telephone numbers and web addresses are generally the most affordable option, while more extensive graphics require additional design, production and fitting time. Send us a clear photograph of the vehicle and a rough idea of what you need for a practical quotation.

What information do you need to prepare a quote?

Please send the vehicle make and model, clear photographs of the sides and rear, your logo or existing artwork, the wording you want included and any preferred colours. It also helps to know whether you need design, production and fitting, and whether you have a particular budget or deadline. This allows us to recommend an appropriate graphics package rather than quoting for more than you need.

Design and Fitting

Can you design the vehicle graphics for me?

Yes. We can help with the layout, wording, logo placement, colours and overall visual balance so the finished graphics suit your vehicle, branding and budget. Before anything is produced, you will receive a visual proof showing how the design is expected to look on the vehicle.

How long does vehicle graphics installation take?

Simple lettering can often be fitted within a few hours, while larger printed graphics, multi-panel work or more detailed installations may take longer. The exact fitting time depends on the size and condition of the vehicle, the complexity of the graphics and whether the work is being completed indoors or outside.

Design and Fitting

How long do vehicle graphics last?

We use premium 5–7 year grade vehicle vinyl from a leading UK manufacturer, selected for durability, colour stability and reliable performance. With proper fitting and sensible care, vehicle graphics can remain presentable for many years; some vans we completed around ten years ago still look good today. The exact lifespan will depend on exposure to sunlight and weather, how the vehicle is stored and used, and the way it is cleaned. Horizontal surfaces such as bonnets and roofs usually weather faster than vertical side panels.

Will vehicle graphics damage the paintwork?

Properly installed vehicle vinyl should not damage sound, fully cured paintwork and can help protect the covered surface from light weathering and minor marks. However, vinyl may expose or lift paint that is already loose, flaking, poorly repaired or not properly bonded. We will point out any obvious concerns before fitting where possible.

Magnetic Signs and On-Site Fitting

Do you supply magnetic vehicle signs?

Yes. Magnetic signs are a practical option for businesses that need removable vehicle branding, use a personal vehicle for work, or want signs that can be taken off outside working hours. They can include your company name, logo, contact details and services, and are produced to suit the available flat metal areas of the vehicle. Magnetic signs are not suitable for every panel or vehicle, so we will check the surface and advise on the best size and position.

Can you fit vehicle graphics at my location?

Yes. We can travel to customers across Surrey and fit vehicle graphics on site where suitable access and working conditions are available. This helps keep disruption to a minimum and means the vehicle does not usually need to be left at a workshop for the whole day. The area needs to be dry, reasonably clean and spacious enough to work safely around the vehicle; larger or weather-sensitive installations may require covered conditions.

Vehicle Care and Removal.

Can vehicle graphics be removed later?

Yes. Professional vehicle vinyl can normally be removed, especially when it is taken off within its intended service life. Removal should be done carefully using the correct heat and technique. Older graphics, damaged paint or poorly repaired panels may need extra care, and any colour difference between covered and uncovered paint can become visible after removal but can usually be t-cut out

How should I clean a vehicle with graphics fitted?

Hand washing with a mild detergent is the safest way to clean a vehicle with graphics fitted. A jet wash can be used, but keep the nozzle at a sensible distance and direct the water broadly across the surface rather than at a sharp angle into vinyl edges, seams or corners. High pressure used too close or from the side can damage the graphics and begin lifting the edges. Avoid abrasive cleaners, strong solvents and hard polishing around the vinyl. Regular gentle cleaning will help the graphics retain their appearance and prevent dirt building up around the edges.
